וַיָּקָם֩ אַחֲרֵ֨י אֲבִימֶ֜לֶךְ לְהוֹשִׁ֣יעַ אֶת־יִשְׂרָאֵ֗ל תּוֹלָ֧ע בֶּן־פּוּאָ֛ה בֶּן־דּוֹד֖וֹ אִ֣ישׁ יִשָּׂשכָ֑ר וְהֽוּא־יֹשֵׁ֥ב בְּשָׁמִ֖יר בְּהַ֥ר אֶפְרָֽיִם׃
Vayakom ajaréi avimélej lehoshía et-Yisrael tolá ben-pu’á ben-dodó ish yisashjar vehu-yoshev beshamir behar Efraim
Y después de Abimelej levantóse para librar a Israel, Tolá hijo de Puá, hijo de Dodo, varón de Issajar, el cual habitaba en Shamir, en el monte de Efraim.

וַיִּשְׁפֹּט֙ אֶת־יִשְׂרָאֵ֔ל עֶשְׂרִ֥ים וְשָׁלֹ֖שׁ שָׁנָ֑ה וַיָּ֖מָת וַיִּקָּבֵ֥ר בְּשָׁמִֽיר׃ (פ)
Vayishpot et-Yisrael esrim veshalosh shaná vayámot vayikaver beshamir
Y juzgó a Israel veintitrés años, y murió, y fue sepultado en Shamir.

וַיָּ֣קָם אַחֲרָ֔יו יָאִ֖יר הַגִּלְעָדִ֑י וַיִּשְׁפֹּט֙ אֶת־יִשְׂרָאֵ֔ל עֶשְׂרִ֥ים וּשְׁתַּ֖יִם שָׁנָֽה׃
Vayákom ajarav ya’ir hagil’adí vayishpot et-Yisrael esrim ushetáyim shaná
Tras él se levantó Iair, de Guilad, el cual juzgó a Israel veintidós años.

וַֽיְהִי־ל֞וֹ שְׁלֹשִׁ֣ים בָּנִ֗ים רֹֽכְבִים֙ עַל־שְׁלֹשִׁ֣ים עֲיָרִ֔ים וּשְׁלֹשִׁ֥ים עֲיָרִ֖ים לָהֶ֑ם לָהֶ֞ם יִקְרְא֣וּ ׀ חַוֺּ֣ת יָאִ֗יר עַ֚ד הַיּ֣וֹם הַזֶּ֔ה אֲשֶׁ֖ר בְּאֶ֥רֶץ הַגִּלְעָֽד׃
Vayhi-lo sheloshim banim rojvim al-sheloshim ayarim usheloshim ayarim lahem lahem yikreú javot ya’ir ad hayom hazé asher be’erets hagil’ad
Éste tuvo treinta hijos que cabalgaban sobre treinta asnos, y tenían treinta aldeas, que se llamaron: “Aldeas de Iair” hasta el día de hoy, las cuales están en la tierra de Guilad.

וַיָּ֣מָת יָאִ֔יר וַיִּקָּבֵ֖ר בְּקָמֽוֹן׃ (פ)
Vayámot ya’ir vayikaver bekamón
Y murió Iair, y fue sepultado en Camón.
6
וַיֹּסִ֣פוּ ׀ בְּנֵ֣י יִשְׂרָאֵ֗ל לַעֲשׂ֣וֹת הָרַע֮ בְּעֵינֵ֣י יְהוָה֒ וַיַּעַבְד֣וּ אֶת־הַבְּעָלִ֣ים וְאֶת־הָעַשְׁתָּר֡וֹת וְאֶת־אֱלֹהֵ֣י אֲרָם֩ וְאֶת־אֱלֹהֵ֨י
Vayosifu benéi Yisrael la’asot hara be’einéi Adonai vaya’avdú et-habe’alim ve’et-ha’ashtarot ve’et-Elohéi aram ve’et-Elohéi tsidón ve’et Elohéi Moav ve’et Elohéi venei-Amón ve’et Elohéi felishtim vaya’azvú et-Adonai veló avaduhu
Mas los hijos de Israel tornaron a hacer lo malo a los ojos del Eterno, y sirvieron a los Baales y a las Ashtarot, y a los dioses de Siria, y a los dioses de Sidón, y a los dioses de Moab, y a los dioses de los hijos de Ammón, y a los dioses de los Pelishtím: y abandonaron al Eterno, y no le sirvieron.

וַיִּֽחַר־אַ֥ף יְהוָ֖ה בְּיִשְׂרָאֵ֑ל וַֽיִּמְכְּרֵם֙ בְּיַד־פְּלִשְׁתִּ֔ים וּבְיַ֖ד בְּנֵ֥י עַמּֽוֹן׃
Vayijar-af Adonai beyisra’el vayimkerem beyad-pelishtim uveyad benéi Amón
Y se encendió la ira del Eterno contra Israel, y los entregó en mano de los Pelishtím, y en mano de los hijos de Ammón

וַֽיִּרְעֲצ֤וּ וַיְרֹֽצְצוּ֙ אֶת־בְּנֵ֣י יִשְׂרָאֵ֔ל בַּשָּׁנָ֖ה הַהִ֑יא שְׁמֹנֶ֨ה עֶשְׂרֵ֜ה שָׁנָ֗ה אֶֽת־כָּל־בְּנֵ֤י יִשְׂרָאֵל֙ אֲשֶׁר֙ בְּעֵ֣בֶר הַיַּרְדֵּ֔ן בְּאֶ֥רֶץ הָאֱמֹרִ֖י אֲשֶׁ֥ר בַּגִּלְעָֽד׃
Vayir’atsú vayrotsetsu et-benéi Yisrael bashaná hahí shemoné esré shaná et-kol-benéi Yisrael asher be’éver hayardén be’erets ha’emorí asher bagil’ad
Los cuales machacaron y quebrantaron a los hijos de Israel en aquel año, dieciocho años, a todos los hijos de Israel que estaban de la otra parte del Jordán en la tierra del Emorí, que está en Guilad.

וַיַּעַבְר֤וּ בְנֵֽי־עַמּוֹן֙ אֶת־הַיַּרְדֵּ֔ן לְהִלָּחֵ֛ם גַּם־בִּיהוּדָ֥ה וּבְבִנְיָמִ֖ין וּבְבֵ֣ית אֶפְרָ֑יִם וַתֵּ֥צֶר לְיִשְׂרָאֵ֖ל מְאֹֽד׃
Vaya’avrú venei-Amón et-hayardén lehilajem gam-bihudá uvevinyamín uveveit Efraim vatétser leyisra’el me’od
Y los hijos de Ammón pasaron el Jordán para hacer también guerra contra Yehudá, y contra Biniamín, y la casa de Efraim: y fue Israel afligido en gran manera.

וַֽיִּזְעֲקוּ֙ בְּנֵ֣י יִשְׂרָאֵ֔ל אֶל־יְהוָ֖ה לֵאמֹ֑ר חָטָ֣אנוּ לָ֔ךְ וְכִ֤י עָזַ֙בְנוּ֙ אֶת־אֱלֹהֵ֔ינוּ וַֽנַּעֲבֹ֖ד אֶת־הַבְּעָלִֽים׃ (פ)
Vayiz’aku benéi Yisrael el-Adonai lemor jatanu laj vejí azavnu et-Eloheinu vana’avod et-habe’alim
Y los hijos de Israel clamaron al Eterno, diciendo: Nosotros hemos pecado contra ti; porque hemos dejado a nuestro Dios, y servido a los Baales.
11
וַ֥יֹּאמֶר יְהוָ֖ה אֶל־בְּנֵ֣י יִשְׂרָאֵ֑ל הֲלֹ֤א מִמִּצְרַ֙יִם֙ וּמִן־הָ֣אֱמֹרִ֔י וּמִן־בְּנֵ֥י עַמּ֖וֹן וּמִן־פְּלִשְׁתִּֽים׃
Vayómer Adonai el-benéi Yisrael haló mimitsrayim umin-ha’emorí umin-benéi Amón umin-pelishtim
Y el Eterno respondió a los hijos de Israel: ¿Acaso (no habéis sido oprimidos) por Egipto, por los Emorim, por los hijos de Ammón, por los Pelishtím,

וְצִידוֹנִ֤ים וַֽעֲמָלֵק֙ וּמָע֔וֹן לָחֲצ֖וּ אֶתְכֶ֑ם וַתִּצְעֲק֣וּ אֵלַ֔י וָאוֹשִׁ֥יעָה אֶתְכֶ֖ם מִיָּדָֽם׃
Vetsidonim va’amalek umaón lajatsú etjem vatits’akú elái vaoshi’a etjem miyadam
por los Tzidonom, por los Amalekim, y por Maón, han sido oprimido y clamaron a Mí y os he librado de sus manos?

וְאַתֶּם֙ עֲזַבְתֶּ֣ם אוֹתִ֔י וַתַּעַבְד֖וּ אֱלֹהִ֣ים אֲחֵרִ֑ים לָכֵ֥ן לֹֽא־אוֹסִ֖יף לְהוֹשִׁ֥יעַ אֶתְכֶֽם׃
Ve’atem azavtem otí vata’avdú Elohim ajerim lajén lo-osif lehoshía etjem
Mas vosotros Me habéis abandonado, y habéis servido a dioses paganos: por lo tanto, Yo no os salvaré más.
14
לְכ֗וּ וְזַֽעֲקוּ֙ אֶל־הָ֣אֱלֹהִ֔ים אֲשֶׁ֥ר בְּחַרְתֶּ֖ם בָּ֑ם הֵ֛מָּה יוֹשִׁ֥יעוּ לָכֶ֖ם בְּעֵ֥ת צָרַתְכֶֽם׃
Lejú veza’aku el-ha’elohim asher bejartem bam hema yoshíu lajem be’et tsaratjem
Id, y clamad a los dioses que os habéis elegido, que ellos os libren en los tiempos de vuestra aflicción.
15
וַיֹּאמְר֨וּ בְנֵי־יִשְׂרָאֵ֤ל אֶל־יְהוָה֙ חָטָ֔אנוּ עֲשֵׂה־אַתָּ֣ה לָ֔נוּ כְּכָל־הַטּ֖וֹב בְּעֵינֶ֑יךָ אַ֛ךְ הַצִּילֵ֥נוּ נָ֖א הַיּ֥וֹם הַזֶּֽה׃
Vayomrú venei-Yisrael el-Adonai jatanu ase-atá lanu kejol-hatov be’eineja aj hatsilenu na hayom hazé
Y los hijos de Israel respondieron al Eterno: Hemos pecado; haz Tú con nosotros como bien te pareciere: libéranos, por favor, en este día.
16
וַיָּסִ֜ירוּ אֶת־אֱלֹהֵ֤י הַנֵּכָר֙ מִקִּרְבָּ֔ם וַיַּעַבְד֖וּ אֶת־יְהוָ֑ה וַתִּקְצַ֥ר נַפְשׁ֖וֹ בַּעֲמַ֥ל יִשְׂרָאֵֽל׃ (פ)
Vayasiru et-Elohéi hanejar mikirbam vaya’avdú et-Adonai vatiktsar nafshó ba’amal Yisrael
Y quitaron de entre sí los dioses aganos, y sirvieron al Eterno: y su alma fue angustiada a causa de la opresión de Israel.
17
וַיִּצָּֽעֲקוּ֙ בְּנֵ֣י עַמּ֔וֹן וַֽיַּחֲנ֖וּ בַּגִּלְעָ֑ד וַיֵּאָֽסְפוּ֙ בְּנֵ֣י יִשְׂרָאֵ֔ל וַֽיַּחֲנ֖וּ בַּמִּצְפָּֽה׃
Vayitsa’aku benéi Amón vayajanú bagil’ad vaye’asfu benéi Yisrael vayajanú bamitspá
Y clamaron los hijos de Ammón, y acamparon en Guilad: juntáronse asimismo los hijos de Israel, y acamparon en Mitzpá.
18
וַיֹּאמְר֨וּ הָעָ֜ם שָׂרֵ֤י גִלְעָד֙ אִ֣ישׁ אֶל־רֵעֵ֔הוּ מִ֣י הָאִ֔ישׁ אֲשֶׁ֣ר יָחֵ֔ל לְהִלָּחֵ֖ם בִּבְנֵ֣י עַמּ֑וֹן יִֽהְיֶ֣ה לְרֹ֔אשׁ לְכֹ֖ל יֹשְׁבֵ֥י גִלְעָֽד׃ (פ)
Vayomrú ha’am saréi gil’ad ish el-re’ehu mi ha’ish asher yajel lehilajem bivnéi Amón yihyé lerosh lejol yoshvéi gil’ad
Y dijo el pueblo, los príncipes de Guilad, uno al otro: ¿Quién será el hombre que comenzará a luchar contra los hijos de Ammón? él será el jefe sobre todos los habitantes de Guilad
